I have done enough counting and measuring of whelks for a lifetime. We hooked up the microscope to a camera so we could take some photos and videos of the whelks. Shelley and I got to open a living egg string from s knobbed whelk and then the egg string that I've been working on for the past two weeks. The knobbed baby whelks needed some time to walk up after being asleep for a few months, so on Monday we will take some better videos of the babies. Also we started working on my final project ideas with a written piece on what we were looking for with the lab videos and ocean videos, any patterns we've seen in the lab and any patterns in the wild videos. It's so weird to think that I only have one more week until this internship is done. Don't know if I'm excited or slightly bummed about it ending. I might make a fun video about a day in the life of a lab rat on Monday. Maybe, maybe not.
